Beyond Good and Evil
In 2001, Ian and Billy teamed up with Matt Sorum to hedge a comeback. Unfortuneatly, no one noticed. A pity, because this album is pretty darn good.
This album hits you with an unwavering wall of noise from start to finish. Aside from Rise, none of the songs really stand out, but they certainly all rock out. Sometimes you just want a good hour of uptempo headbangers. This will certainly fill that need.
Rise is the best track off the album and takes its place among Love Removal Machine, In the Clouds, and Fire Woman on my list of favorite Cult songs. If you missed this album--chances are you did, give it a listen.
